It has been almost a year since Kane made the move from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich. New Bayern boss and former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has now urged all the overseas players to slowly learn the local language as he plans to communicate in multiple languages at the club including German, French, Dutch and English.
WHAT VINCENT KOMPANY SAID
Speaking to reporters, the former Burnley manager said, "For me, it's very important to be clear. I can explain many things in German – but at the moment all my football terminology is in English. It takes a bit of time before being able to translate everything. Maybe that will change in the next few years.
"But at the moment, the 'business language' is English. But I'm Belgian, we communicate in all languages – German, French, English, Dutch, it's not a problem. The most important thing is also to motivate the players to learn German."
